Event Photography at the Northwest Football Awards 2021

Held every year, the Northwest Football Awards is a prestigious event for the football community so it was our honour to be asked to photograph it.   Held on Monday 21st November the awards celebrated the brightest and best in football in the region.

The event was held at Lancashire County Cricket Club and was hosted by the journalist, newsreader and television presenter Dan Walker, who walked out to the Strictly Come Dancing theme tune (We’re definitely team Dan!)

Football Clubs and players work hard to become nominated for a prize at the Northwest Football awards and to be nominated let alone to win is deemed very prestigious within the football community.

The event was managed by Road 3 who are a luxury lifestyle management service who discretely provide services to support high profile clients and their families including the management of events.  And if this event was anything to go by, they’re clearly very good at what they do.  We were really impressed with the how well the event was managed and by the hospitality team at The Lancashire County Cricket Club.

The Point at Lancashire County Cricket was the perfect venue for the awards.  It’s a modern and airy space with enormous seven metre windows that overlook the world-famous cricket pitch.  Its state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems combined with the professionalism of the experienced hospitality team made sure the event ran effortlessly.

There were some footballing legends in attendance such as the great Brian Robson and Dion Dublin who were both happy to sign autographs, footballs and pose for selfies with delighted fans.

On arrival everybody enjoyed an elegant drinks reception and it was the perfect time for us to capture everybody looking amazing in black tie.  Guests was then seated for the awards and a fantastic meal was served.

After which the celebrations really started and there was a live DJ set to really get the party started and we managed to capture a lovely mix of posed and candid images of the guests enjoying themselves.

Getting to capture the celebration of the young bright stars of tomorrow in our national game was a real honour.  Our images really captured the celebration and joy of the event.
