We were so excited to be booked to photograph the Pretty Little Things Christmas Party for their staff at Manchester’s Rosso Restaurant and Bar. Rosso’s Restaurant sits on fashionable Kings Street. The Grade II listed building houses a lively bar and restaurant and sits at the top table of Manchester’s vibrant dining scene. Its opulent interiors made it the perfect choice for the Pretty Little Things Christmas Party. Where better to celebrate the end of another fantastic year for the PLT team?

Manchester Christmas party photography is just the best. Nobody parties better than us Mancs, and with Manchester’s most photogenic people in one place looking fabulous and up for some fun it really was the only ticket in town. I say ticket, it was a pink wristband that got you in!
The evening started on the red carpet. And we were there to capture every bodies arrival. The red-carpet treatment was a great idea as it created a sense of excitement and fun for the PLT staff before even entering the venue.
We loved the light up letters on the entrance and of course the unicorns. They were strewn all over the place, which was understandable since they have always featured as part of PLT’s distinctive brand.

Once everybody had a cocktail or a glass of champagne in their hands (the drinks flowed all evening) it was time to introduce the live acts for the evening. And boy were the PLT staff in for a treat! UK Garage royalty ‘So Solid Crew’ performed. (who doesn’t love 21 seconds!) And, hip-hop and RnB superstar Ashanti performed as well. By chance, they are favourites of mine so after a nano-second of feeling slightly star struck I positioned myself at the front of stage and got some fantastic action shots.
Though I think my favourite images of the night were of the PLT staff just really enjoying themselves on the dancefloor. Here take a look!
An incredible event that was a joy to capture. The owners and management at PLT must really value their staff to have created such a memorable end of year party for them.
